Пиво Taonga - Narrative Fermentations

Taonga is a NZ IPA hopped generously with Nelson, Nelson CGX, Riwaka, & Nectaron and was brewed in collaboration with the homie, Rob, from MachineHead Brewing. We used some lean pilsner malt for the base of this beer to help express the rad hop character. Based primarily on Nelson, we used Nelson lots from Clayton Farms, NZ Hops, and cryogenic lupulin pellets from Hop Revolution. In addition, we slid in some Riwaka & Nectaron which added some awesome depth and complexity. This beer presents with some deliciously saturated hop oil characteristics of nectarine, white wine, pink grapefuit, diesel, white peach, with a sticky resinous quality that grips the tongue.
