Not only is the the first collab we've done with the unquestionably terrific people at Badlands Brewing but it's also the first time we've had the opportunity to use Phantasm in a beer. Phantasm is a product that comes from New Zealand and is derived from Sauvignon Blanc grape skins. Badlands (if you are not aware) is a brewery from Caledon who make some of the best IPAs on the god damned planet, and sometimes make other beers too. For our collabs we brewed the same beer in theory, but leaned in to the small process differences we each employ to make distinctly different beers. What's the same? We used some of the best Citra, Simcoe and Mosaic on the planet to make big, juicy IPAs. What's different? You be the judge.
