The Green Lab is an on-going experimental hop collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops (Yakima, WA). Fresh, wet-hopped ales have long since been one of the most celebratory beers in the craft beer community. We are extremely excited to be one of the first breweries in the country to utilize Yakima Chief Hops "Frozen Fresh Hops". These "Frozen Fresh Hops" are flash-frozen just hours after harvested and shipped directly to the brewery. This process gives us the ability to finally explore fresh, whole cone hops when previously it was highly inefficient to ship the amount needed from the west coast. Over 220lbs of fresh Citra hops were used in our next "The Green Lab" collaborative series with Yakima Chief.
