The Reverse Engineering series flips our typical approach to barrel-aged beer. It started when we asked our friends at American Solera , Angry Chair Brewing and Burial Beer Co. two of their favorite adjuncts. We then tasted through our barrel cellar and carefully selected barrels to complement those flavors. Since we normally first select barrels and let them influence what additions would lean into existing notes, having adjuncts chosen first was a fun creative challenge for us. We hope you enjoy the results. Aged 22-29 months in a blend of 12 Year Weller Bourbon and 10 Year Grape Brandy barrels. Conditioned on Ecuadorian cacao nibs and wild Thai banana.
