Hoppy tropicality of Strata and Citra meets orange and lemon zest in this spirited Pale Ale, specially crafted for Dishoom by DEYA Brewing Company. Entirely Vegan. The idea of this collab was to provide a full bodied beer that would stand up to the bold flavours on Dishoom's menus, with bright fruit flavour and aroma, and fruity hop character to complement. Orange and Lemon zest were added with the dry hop to bring punchy zesty citrus aroma and put a twist on our standard process. We dry hopped the beer with Strata and Citra, two big hops which bring lots of layers of citrus and tropical fruit flavour. The citrus zest and dry hop meld really well together with great clarity of flavour with the perceived sweetness of the beer being reasonably high. The orange and lemon zest aid in lifting the perceived sweetness without adding actual sweetness or sugary flavour.
