This beer is bright yellow with a piney, resin-filled aroma and the telltale hint of fresh-hop grassiness and moss that might remind you of a Colorado forest after a thunderstorm. As you sip, it’ll give you a big hop punch and a dry, piney, bitter finish, but in between those two sensations, and also as you breathe out after the sip, take note of the floral and malt flavors that shine through. The fresh or "wet" Cascade hops used in this sessionable pale ale were grown a few miles east of our brewery by Doug & Justin Lehman of Lakeside Hop Farms. Doug is a former PFA firefighter and we feel he’s gone out of the fire and into the frying pan by devoting his energy to this beautiful, work-intensive crop.
