We brought some of our hops and barley farmers out to brew the very first Lagunitas/Seattle TapRoom Beer! Quick farm-trivia sidenote: the hair-like awn on barley is called the "beard" and our hops grow on tall "bines". This beer features some very special Caliente, Ron Mexico, and Galaxy hops that were trucked in just for this brew. It bursts with tropical brightness on top of a smooth blonde 2-row malted barley backbone. We couldnt do what we do without the our hard-workin' farmers, so cheers to them... It's good to have friends!
