Мёд Overboard (2022) - Pips Meadery

Overboard is our version of A Thousand Ships with Vanilla Beans added. This batch saw a dose of Ugandan Vanilla beans that served to temper the acidity a bit while providing a creamier banana profile. While the vanilla will show more clearly by comparison with the base mead, the focus of the vanilla addition in this batch was to provide a smoother transition between fruits while also lending a touch of savory along with the sweet.
