This variation of Amalgamation was given a heaping dose of Vanilla. Staying true to the name, we opted to use just as many types of vanilla as we used different fruits. Ecuadorian, Tahitian, Ugandan, Sri Lankan and Costa Rican vanilla beans all spent time imparting their flavors on this batch. Ever present, but in check throughout, flavors of silky milk chocolate, fig, raisin, red wine, and various stone fruits join the already packed profile of the base mead. Rich, full bodied and with a long finish.
