Chocolate, black & crystal malts achieve a black colour, whilst Munich & wheat malts give a velvety texture, biscuit flavour & full mouth-feel. Plum adds a sweet yet tart tang. Dark treacle adds a caramel note & deepens the colour. First Gold & Chinook hops with the plum give a fruity aroma, whilst Magnum hops retain the bitterness you’d expect from a porter.
