We brewed the base beer with whole lemons and mint leaves in the kettle, then dosed the casks with another lemon-mint jolt. The aroma blooms with citrus rind and sweet herb; the flavor is anchored by fluffy notes of vanilla—think angel food cake—courtesy of the wood; and the finish features rye spice and smooth bitterness.
