Taking its name from the hefty ABV—well, throw a decimal in there—Eighty Six’d is a fresh-hop IPA whose big aroma is charged by several hop varieties, including a healthy dose of estate-grown, wet Citra hops used during dry hopping. The citrus, mildly tart flavors are kept in check by bready malt, making Eighty Six’d, despite what its name suggests, welcoming to many palates.
