Our 2nd release from our cocktail-inspired barrel-aged series: This gose was brewed with Sea Salt from La Laguna de Cuyutlán, carefully harvested from the ancient salt beds of Colima once used by the Aztecs over 500 years ago. We barrel aged this gose for over 12 months in smokey mezcal barrels. After aging, we conditioned the gose on fresh passion fruit, peach, lemon, and topped it off with a dash of almond simple syrup, angostura bitters, and pinch of smoked paprika. The smokey mezcal barrel characteristics is balanced by the sweet passion fruit and peach. Brightened by the lemon, this cocktail in a bottle goes down with a smokey after taste accented by the paprika and angostura bitters and rounded off by the almond simple syrup.
