German Chocolate Cake Stout is the latest release in our #pastrystout series, featuring recreations of some our favorite desserts. GCCS is an Imperial Milk Stout brewed with lactose, toasted coconut, cacao nibs and pecans. Decidedly sweet, yet surprisingly drinkable, GCCS opens with a huge burst of rich coconut, lending way to caramel malt sweetness, dark and bittersweet chocolate and coffee from the cacao and chocolate malts, and just a hint of nutiness from the pecans. Rich, decadent, creamy, flavorful and the perfect beer to cozy up to on a cold fall night.
