Medianoche: Amburana Vanilla Luar started after a yearslong search, turned procurement, of Amburana barrels–our holy grail for showcasing some of the rarest and most sought-after barrels imaginable. Our excitement for finally securing the barrels launched us to take some of our base Medianoche, which had already been aging in Old Rip Bourbon Barrels for over 16 months, and rest it in Amburana barrels for an additional six months. Double barrel-aging resulted in an unforgettable tasting experience with some of the most unique flavors we have ever encountered. Savor notes of cinnamon, applejack, pie crust, chocolate-covered raisins and an abundance of vanilla…truly an out-of-this-world flavor complexity.
