After aging for 26 months in 19-year-old Elijah Craig barrels, we are thrilled to bring you the long-anticipated Monstruos de Medianoche. We at WeldWerks knew that our love for Cerebral Brewing and their Here Be Monsters series meant that it was only a matter of time before we joined forces. Together we blended our base recipes of Medianoche and Here Be Monsters, which we aged in barrels from the same batch of 19-year Elijah Craig bourbon. While both blends were distinctive on their own, we each picked an adjunct that would complement the base imperial stout without overpowering it. Marshmallow was the key for our base, complementing the oak, chocolate, vanilla, and toasted bourbon flavors already found in Monstruos de Medianoche!
