Neapolitan Achromatic is an Imperial Stout brewed with tons of chocolate malt, flaked oats, milk chocolate, strawberry and vanilla. We boil for more than 6 hours to achieve the unbelievably rich, chewy, thick mouthfeel of the base beer, which is made even more creamy by a generous addition of flaked oats. We added milk chocolate baking chips to the boil and strawberry puree to the fermenter, then aged the finished beer with additional milk chocolate and vanilla beans, resulting in a sweet and creamy dessert beer reminiscent of Neapolitan ice cream.
