We are in the heart of summer and our love for brewing, history and geography inspires us for new recipes. It is with great pleasure that we present to you "Aotearoa".Our new Aotearoa recipe is a light bodied lager with 5% ABV and 100% New Zealand hops "Rakau". Unfiltered and strongly aromatic, one can easily confuse it with a light I.P.A or I.P.L. The star hop 'Rakau', which in the Maori language means tree, stick, timber, wood, etc., was discovered and released to the market in 2011 by the New Zealand hop breeding program and is bursting with aromas and flavors of apricot, plum, mango, pear and other stone fruits. We also detect some lighter notes of lime and pine.
