The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all things DIPA. The goal for the series is not only to bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup. This month we turned our whirlpool hopping volume up, built a bigger, more luxurious malt base and then threw down a delightful blend of citrusy hops to dance around on your palate. We are extremely pleased with the results! Hopped Motueka, HBC 638 and Citra our goal here was to cover the “citrus” hop spectrum. We taste a medley of lime, orange, hints of grapefruit and mandarin pulp. A truly lovely beverage that is perfect for spring!
