Our distinctly non-traditional take on the Helles. We built a traditional helles malt base and fermented it with a German lager strain, but we whirlpooled it with a bunch of American hops (and a little saaz for good measure) at a very non-traditional rate. What we're left with is a deliciously toasty, biscuity, mildly sweet lager with supporting floral, citrus and earthy notes. 'Tis le yum.
