Пиво January DIPA (2020) - Badlands Brewing Company

The monthly DIPA series is our neutral, hop ready canvas to play around with all thing's DIPA. The goal for the series is not only bring you at least one DIPA per month, but also to allow us to push our base DIPA recipe in any number of directions with the goal of ultimately tweaking, refining and improving every DIPA in our lineup. January 2020 features a modified malt base that pushes the protein content of our grist higher than usual. It's a base malt with a little more melanoidin development, and a touch more sweetness/color. We also tweaked our water profile ever so slightly. What we're let with is a DIPA on the higher end of the drinkability scale and a burnt orange color. Dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, and Nelson Sauvin. We taste peaches, gooseberry, papaya and ripe citrus.
