It’s still summer for a little bit longer, so there’s still time for outdoor fires and the treats that pair perfectly. Tramping and Trailing is a S’mores inspired stout that gets it’s name from the magazine that first published a recipe for “Some Mores” in the 1020s. We brewed this stout with graham crackers in the mash, marshmallows, and honey in the kettle and, and finished the beer with cocoa nibs and coffee. The roast from the malt and coffee combined with the vanilla sweetness of the marshmallows hint at the squishy center that is layered by the chocolate nibs and sandwiched by the graham and honey. Each sips echoes memories of summers by the fire with friends and family!
