Zarza Marrón began as a flander’s style brown ale that has been aging in oak for exactly 3 years at the time bottling. This was then aged for several more months on a combination of blackberries, cranberries, and raspberries leaving a jamminess which nicely complements the subtle malt character of the brown base beer.
