Пиво El Coco - Cigar City Brewing

El Coco is said to be a mythical creature, referred to by multiple cultures. While some cultures might view it as a monster underneath the bed, the Portuguese make use of the metaphor "Dar coca a alguem", which means to smother one with kindness and love. We have spent the better part of 2014 creating this beer, in conjunction with 5 Rabbit Cerveceria, as a display of Latin folklore and culinary culture. We implement spices, coconut, lactose and Dulce de Leche to create a concoction that we feel resembles coconut flan, a tropical interpretation of the classical Latin dessert. Burns apetit!
