Guinness Smooth is a distinctive, flavourful beer with the perfect balance of bitter roast character and sweet malt. The perfect balance of roasted barley, specially selected malts and hops all combined to produce a smooth and refreshing liquid that makes Guinness Smooth truly unique.

The main differences between FE and Smooth are the alcohol content and the bitterness level. Guinness Smooth has a alcohol content of 5% while FE is 7.5%. Guinness Smooth also is less filling and less bitter while FE on the other hand is more filling and has a higher bitterness level.

There has been little Innovations from the Brand since incorporating into CBL’s beer portfolio. Recently, we have seen a growing trend of persons consuming Guinness FE with mixers to ultimately mask the original bitter flavour of Guinness FE.
