Choco Flavored Kisses is the loudest & proudest declaration of our love for cacao nibs.In this first iteration of Choco Flavored Kisses we’re dialing in on some beautiful lovelies from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These nibs are a combination of the forastero and trinitario varieties grown on sustainability-focused farms in the Nobili region of North Kivu. The rich soil and shade trees produce cacao with a slight almond nuttiness and complex and elusive notes of tamarind, red wine and molasses. We loaded this up with gargantuan amounts of these gnarly nibs and rested them on the blend of triple mash milk sugar stouts we pulled from Willet, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace, Knob Creek, & Bookers barrels that had all aged for 12-16 months.
