Patrick Schou, the man behind Pleasanti Street, has been making a name for himself in the Danish home-brewing community for quite some time with his delicious, handcrafted brews. Whether its a tart cherry sour or a refreshing, dry-hopped saison, his beers continue to prove that you don’t have to be a large brewery to make top quality beer. “Promises Made” is a collaboration between Patrick and the brewers on Fanø. Brewed at Fanø Bryghus and inspired by a shared love for Barley Wines, it is a smooth and velvety soft ale, with flavours of dried figs, caramel, licorice, burnt sugar, and oak with a slightly smokiness at the finish.
