Our newest Double IPA features Phantasm, a new product in the brewing world produced by @phantasm.nz - a thiol-rich powder extracted from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Grapes, contributing aromatic precursors to the unfermented beer that “unlock” during fermentation to create a uniquely tropical, terroir-driven IPA. This Double IPA was hopped with Simcoe cryo, Southern Cross, and a bit of Mosaic and drinks with our usual soft mouthfeel with bright, complex flavors of mango, lychee, and orange, with a vinous edge. This is our first trial with Phantasm - inspired by the cryptid giant sloth rumored to live deep in the Amazon jungle - this massive, howling Double IPA brings justice the namesake, we think you’re gonna like it!
