We aged the beer with multi-level toasted French Oak, and with the addition of Scotch whisky, to further elevate the complexity and character of the beer. The deep copper beer has a medium to full body; it brings forth a strong aroma and flavor of dark fruit, such as plums and raisins, with a taste of toffee, and completes with a smooth whisky finish. Notes of dark chocolate and coffee attributes by the oak, also enhance the complexity and the body of the beer.
