It is the 10th beer to be released from Halcyon Barrel House. 7 Years Bad Luck is 7.4 % double I.P.A. that is primary-fermented with brettanomyces. Organic Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops are new to the profile, which also includes Amarillo and Nelson-Sauvin. The aroma is freshly hoppy, with tropical fruit dominant, and lighter notes of grassy meadows and wildflowers. It tastes juicy, with ripe fruit, citrus and pine. The finish wicks with warming alcohol and hop bitterness.
