You'd be forgiven if you were a bit pitch-kettled as to what a bochet is. A lost style of mead that involves caramelizing the honey before fermentation, we've taken burnt honey mead (90% clover; 10% manuka & kanuka) and blended it with an imperial stout. The end result is a combination of caramel, hints of cacao and a big, dark malt bill with a nice sweetness. Best enjoyed with a bit of bellytimber!
