You'll find wafts of orange, peach, and the characteristic grassiness you expect from fresh or "wet" hops in the nose of this beer. The hops used were grown and harvested by Fort Collins area growers G5 Hope Farms & Fort Collins Hop Farms and were immediately used in brewing rahter than being sent to the "oast house" for drying and packaging. Darker than many traditional fresh hop ales, this copper, malty base anchors a lemon and resin-filled hop flavor throughout the taste, and the beer finished with a definitive hop bitterness that we crave with the hop harvest. To further celebrate Colorado's beer-related agriculture, over 90% of the malts in this beer were Colorado grown and were malted by our neighbors in the airpark, Troubador Maltings.
