This HomeGrown Ballard release highlights the history of our Ballard brewery and its former function as an auto dealership. Plus, it’s harvest time (woohoo!) so this beer is full of 150#’s of fresh Simcoe hops from Perrault Farms for that delicious wet hop taste and feel. The next beer in our HomeGrown Ballard series is all about slowing down, taking the long way home, stopping and smelling the flowers... or maybe it’s about taking an extra trip through our brewhouse’s hot liquor tank because of a misrouted tube. Anyway, the Scenic Route is brewed with some Rye Pale malt, giving it a nice dry finish on top of a hop-forward body. Try the Scenic Route sometime!
