This West Coast Double captures a big full expression of probably our favorite hop to use for WC styles of beer, Mosaic. We used both Mosaic and Mosaic Lupomax hops in this beer. Lupomax is a product from HAAS Innovations that concentrates the lupulin and reduces the amount of vegetative matter......all killer no filler! We believe this results in a better all around expression of Mosaic. From this beer we get super expressive flavors of blood orange, lite tropical and berry, grapefruit pith, dank resin, and pine with a lingering, well incorporated bitterness.
