One of the greatest perks of working at Sierra Nevada is that every year a small group of employees gets to participate in Beer Camp, including an exhaustive tour around the brewery on the Beer Bike, which is unable to get past second gear. Campers decided to harken back to the brewery’s history and make a traditional porter with a modern twist, adding Tahitian vanilla beans and Experimental Hops 438/472 to the mix, giving the beer a coconut flavor with an oak finish.
