It’s been almost 2 years since Kyle from Horus Aged Ales reached out to say he’s ready to head to Decorah. We spent the next few months conceptualizing the project; originally targeting the beer expression of a caramel pecan chocolate bar. This is the final, and barrel-aged version of that batch. Aged on a selection of vanilla from Mexico, Tahiti, Madagascar, and Vanuatu, then multiple doses of roasted pecans; we’re excited to share this beer with the world. Imagine a turtle bundt cake topped with vanilla ice cream and a double dose of roasted pecans. Cheers, and enjoy!
