Fruity Bits - Orange Creamsicle is the newest release in our rotating Fruity Bits series, a spinoff of Juicy Bits, our popular New Enland-style IPA. For FBOC, we brewed with Amarillo and Mandarina Bavaria hops exclusively, selected for their citrus quality. Then we added an absurd amount of mandarin orange purée to complement the flavor of the hops. Finally, we added just a touch of vanilla beans to contribute a unique sweet creaminess that when combined with the soft, pillowy mouthfeel of the base beer and the citrus character from the hops and mandarin orange, produces a beer surprisingly reminiscent of an orange creamsicle popsicle.
