This white stout challenges the notions of what a stout should look like. We used 2-row, Marris Otter, Caramel, and Carapils malts for a light blonde color, the addition of White Wheat and Oat Flakes for a creamy mouthfeel, and the addition of lactose to add body and smoothness. This stout recreates the traditional tastes of an American Coffee Stout but without the color. The lactose adds body and smoothness while being aged on Cocoa Nibs and Coffee Beans adds a delicious aroma and taste.
