Brewed with pilsen, high color pale, malted wheat, flaked oats, malted oats, Golden Naked Oats, and acidulated malts. Hopped in the kettle with Idaho 7, then dry-hopped with Galaxy and more Idaho 7 for aromas of pine and tropical fruit with a light floral addition to the palate. This Colorado style hazy DIPA is named for the seminal work of Dr. Beatrice Willard, "Land Above the Trees: A Guide to American Alpine Tundra." Dr. Willard was an internationally recognized tundra ecologist who made significant contributions to environmental policy in Colorado. Bill Coors (yes, that Coors) credited Dr. Willard with convincing him to invent and invest in the recyclable aluminum can!
