We noticed we had way too many animals in the names of the last few beer releases (Sexy Tiger, Cloned Mule Juice, and Grilled Unicorn), so we thought it was time to get back to some intergalactic badassery for a beer that truly deserves a bad ass name. Of course, we wanted to add a German touch, so we made it all one word, because that’s what we do here in Germany. While many breweries love to hype up their 100% Cryo hopped beers, we find the fruit and hop character in those beers tends to taste artificial. We at Bräugier are not focused on hype and marketing jargon, rather our priorities are quality, balance and drinkability. Used at the right time, in the right amounts, and in the right combinations, Cryo hops can bring out an additional pop of aroma and complexity, but in our experience, you still need some backbone from T90 hops. Fortunately for you, we got the balance just right on this one. Like we always do for our hazy beers, we loaded up an explosive double dry hop for a supernova of aroma and flavor, yet still silky smooth. The hop lineup this time: El Dorado, Idaho 7 (T90 & Cryo), Citra, Simcoe Cryo, and Cashmere.
