What if Olde Hickory and De Molen meet? At the time of brewing, it was immediately decided to put it in Port barrels, this Imperial Stout with honey was the perfect match for this. Due to the aging in the Port barrels, the characteristic roasted malt, chocolate and caramel aromas of the Stout weaken slightly. On the other hand, this Imp. Stout extra red fruit characters and a well-present vinousness due to the tannins present in the barrels, which makes the beer nicely balanced.
