Pours dark brown with ruby hues and a creamy off-white head on top. Starts with toffee, spicy peppers and lemongrass on the nose, followed by French oak from the barrels. On the palate, the complex malts blend in with the spicy and dark-fruit yeast characters. The beer has a sturdy body coupled with ample carbonation, but finishes dry and tart.
