MORNING DOVES is an oak-aged saison with Peaches and Oranges. This beer started as our mature foeder saison aged on California heirloom yellow peaches. Once fermented to dryness and aged to the preferred level of character it was blended with older barrel aged saison and naturally conditioned with the juice from oranges to make this beautiful Paloma cocktail inspired saison. With the recommended tilt-and-twist of the bottle before opening, Morning Doves pours a beautifully opaque orange color and a nice balance of fresh squeezed orange juice and sliced peach in the aroma. Body is dry with light to medium acid. Flavor is undeniably citrus forward with Valencia and navel oranges followed by ruby red grapefruit but finishes with pure peach skins. This one is ripe for that farmhouse inspired brunch you’ve always dreamed of hosting!
