A truly local Gose that explores the Farm's Edge in late spring. Deadnettle blossoms -- foraged by our head brewer right here in Durham -- lend a spicy herbaceous quality. Locally malted spelt and wheat, some sourced right up the road in Hillsborough, contribute to a smooth grain bill. Bulls Bay sea salt from the Carolina sea adds that trademark Gose salinity. Coriander and lemon, while not sourced locally, add earthy depth and needed acidity to bring it all home. Low in alcohol and kettle soured, Farm's Edge: Deadnettle is the perfect accompaniment to a warm Carolina spring.
