Almost Always Never is a Steam Beer, also known as a California Common, conceptualized and brewed by our very own Chris Beth (if you don’t know Chris, well, your loss). We have, with deference to the originators of the style and the awesome manner in which Common is cooled, fermented and cellared, called this a Portland Common. Amber in color, with ample hop character from hot side Crystal and Northern Brewer hops and a smooth, fruity finish, our version of this unique lager style is unfiltered, lively, well-carbed and built for sessioning.
