A deep golden-orange unfiltered pale ale, you'll get clean wafts of citrusy grapefruit with notes of pear. The grapefruit continues through the dry citrus taste, and a bright effervescence helps the hops linger through the finish, full of tangerine and grapefruit rind notes. This medium-bodied pale was an experimental brew made in collaboration with Soul Squared Brewing Company using locally grown and processed hops and locally processed purple barley (an ancient grain not commonly used in current-day brewing). The SOWN Project, brainchild of Troubadour Maltings, encourages brewers to get more involved with their supply chain, support small growers, and support innovation in the processing of ingredients - Cheers!
