Kapow is a an intriguing experimental ale, co-fermented with sake yeast and American ale yeast and infused with plum in late stage conditioning. At first sniff, the sweetness of the aroma is slight, but as this beer warms, that sweetness becomes much more prominent. Phenolic esters reminiscent of a Belgian brew and hints of plum combine with a slight hop character to finish off this rosy golden, light bodied beer.
