Hof Podis Õlu is Imperial Sour Ale barrel aged in Pootsi Winery blackcurrant wine barrel. Hazy orange coloured beer with small white nicely lasting head. Room is filled with smooth fruity sweet blackcurrant aromas when opening bottle. Rich oaky and blackcurrant leaf aromas come in nose when pouring out. First taste is rather dry and woody, but middle taste is more juicy and blackcurrant winey. Aftertaste is long and winey slightly tannic.
