We decided to make the final riff on our beloved Hazy Lite, Hurry on Daylight, inspired by a favorite frozen treat. Brewed with a slightly beefed up malt bill and a touch of lactose in the kettle, we then threw Blood Orange and Tangerine purée in at rate of 2lbs/gal. Finally dry hopped with the usual blend of Cascade, Amarillo and Crystal, with some Sabro thrown in for good measure. This beer reminds us dipping an orange Mamba into Tang powder, the time you came home late and mixed orange sherbet with vanilla ice cream, and eating frozen orange juice concentrate with a tye dyed spoon.
