Мёд Double Barrel Call of the Void - Pips Meadery

Double-Barrel Call of the Void is our Black Currant Mead which has been aged for nearly 4 years in 2 different barrels. First, this mead spent close to 3 years in an ex-Gin, ex-Sherry Butt...only to be followed by a Valentine's Gin barrel for roughly another year. The nose radiates with a floral and citrus perfume, spice and lingering dark berries. On the palate, a bright acidity with a mild botanical profile. The sherry makes a strong appearance in the finish with dark dried fruits presenting. The familiar profile of black currants are most prominent in the middle as this drink shifts from spirit to fruit to barrel throughout.
